چکیده
To improve the safety performance of important rooms, such as operating rooms and disaster command centers, during an earthquake, a novel partial seismic isolation system suitable for new existing frame structures is proposed, optimization analysis carried out. Using finite element numerical simulation method, models ordinary structure isolated were established. Considering response room, design impact on overall structure, this study analyzed damping effect system. We changed type bearing, location load to further optimize calculation structure. The results show that could significantly reduce room under action magnitude-8 rare earthquake. rate relative acceleration displacement between top bottom columns reach 90%. It was found proposed in paper applicable reinforced concrete without affecting main building. This easy construct, both structures, provides effective mitigation measure locally

متن کاملSeismic Response Reduction of Structures using Smart Base Isolation System
In this study, control performance of a smart base isolation system consisting of a friction pendulum system (FPS) and a magnetorheological (MR) damper has been investigated. A fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is used to modulate the MR damper so as to minimize structural acceleration while maintaining acceptable base displacement levels. To this end, a multi-objective optimization scheme is used t...

In this paper an optimization framework is presented for automated performance-based seismic design of bridges consisting of multi-column RC pier substructures. The beneficial effects of fusing components on seismic performance of the quasi-isolated system is duly addressed in analysis and design. The proposed method is based on a two-step structural analysis consisting of a linear modal dynami...
متن کاملPillow-Shape Base Isolation System and Its Seismic Behavior
In this paper a new isolating system is introduced for short to mid-rise buildings. In comparison to conventional systems such as LRB and HRB, the proposed system has the advantage of no need to cutting edge technology and has low manufacturing cost. This system is made up of two orthogonal pairs of pillow-shaped rollers that are located between flat bed and plates. By using this system in two ...

This paper presents the evaluation of seismic performance and cost-effectiveness of a multiple slim-type damper system developed for the vibration control of earthquake excited buildings. The multiple slim-type damper (MSD) that consists of several small slim-type dampers and linkage units can control damping capacity easily by changing the number of small dampers. To evaluate the performance o...
